"This is my favourite blade." Bild #2

The man with the exotic name is a Barghest, a mythical, ancient shapeshifter from which existence maybe only a few old, English farmers still know of. If you ask them about this creature, they would probably tell your horror stories about a huge, malicious black dog and they would probably tell you that you should stay away from the lonely, narrow alleys in the cities at night – but especially to stay away from the misty bogs and swamps.

Shurakai, however, doesn't strike you as either a dog or being English. He's with 1,90 m very tall and of athletic figure. It is hard to guess his age but that might be due to the red piece of cloth that usually covers the lower part of his face and hides the fact that he never wears a kind smile.
His hair is dark brown, not a single light coloured streak can be found, and a bit longer than shoulders length. He has it very loosely tied into a pony tail: probably more a matter of style than of practical use because many dark streaks fall into his face, partially covering it. His eyes are usually black and seem to lack any emotions – except sometimes when they glow red and scream murder.

He wears dark, practical clothes made out of strong fabric – the attire of a hunter, an assassin. And he's not exactly one to hide his profession: the dagger cloak and the long blade attached to his arm are evidence for that.
He also carries a couple of throwing stars on his belt. They are adorned with dark rubies, the same can be found on the daggers of his cloak and the dragon head ornament on his blade.

Shurakai strikes one as a serious, silent man. He won't tell where he's from, where he goes or at least how old he is. Should one ever get the arguable opportunity to get to know him better, they will be met with a cynic who loves nothing more than himself.

"They've taken this world from us. Cast us into an uncertain future. Earth is no longer ours. It is ruined.

Once we were the peak of evolution, bending the laws of nature to our whim. But our legacy... has been taken from us."
