Talon was born in England, yet his parents weren't British – his surname Jeldar is a clear hint for that. They wished for him to become a great, fierce hunter, like the eagle and so, according to old traditions, they named him talon – after the claws of large birds of prey - yet Talon feels like he can't really live up to that name.

Talon's parents were part of a small, Celtic tribe settled in the heart of England, hiding in solitude among the big oaks of Sherwood Forest. While they do lived a modern life, they still held on to ancient traditions and rites. Every person of the tribe was a wizard, just like Talon, however their powers and abilities differed form person to person. They were, unlike other humans, also very much aware of the existence of vampires, werewolves, demons, fairies and other fantastic creatures from the world of superstition.

Talon became a traveller when he was still but a teenager. Because one fine day all members of the tribe just vanished – except for him. Their houses didn't look like they vanished all of a sudden, they were cleaned up and tidy but they also didn't take personal belongings, food or clothes with them. A whole lot of humans just vanished over night like they never existed and with them all their knowledge, leaving nothing but an empty ghost town and one young boy behind: Talon. Why everyone but him vanished, he does not know. As well as whereto his parents and all other members of his tribe vanished to. They left no trace, no note, nothing.
The only thing that still connects him to this tribe and his parents is the silver feather necklace that he always wears around his neck.

Since then he's on the tramp through Europe and America, always in hope to find a teacher for his abilities and traces of his tribe. Until today he had none or just moderate success. His shotgun Gomorrha is a relic from his travels as well.

Originally Talon had thought to make use of his talents and knowledge to earn money as a monster hunter but he found that it was actually easier to just work as a barista or employee of fast food chains and shopping malls.
